Postdoctoral Researchers and Junior Faculty

Senior Faculty

  • Potential mentorship roles.

  • Interested in collaborative scientific endeavors.

Selection Process

  • Mandatory submission of comprehensive CV.

  • Detailed assessment through initial CV screening, structured interview process with evaluation of research potential and communication skills.

  • Selection Methodology is based on merit and holistic assessment of candidate's scientific aptitude with an emphasis on potential for research leadership.

Program Structure

Duration: 12 months

​Start Date: 9 January 2025

The program is divided into 2 phases, focusing on scientific communication, research, and thematic projects.

SciCom (3-4 Months)

Objectives

  • Develop foundational skills in scientific writing and communication.

  • Emphasize presentations (CellTalk), weekly synthesis, and digital skills.

Outcome

  • Participants demonstrate mastery of scientific communication basics and engage in peer evaluations.

Activities

  • Weekly Classes.

  • Students will also join external CellTalk speaker presentations.

Thematic Research will be commenced based on the performance in SciCom (aggregate of 90% is compulsory). The progress of individual research projects can be done based on the performance in the SciCom phase.

Technical Requirements

  • Laptop with a working microphone and webcam.​​

  • Stable internet (minimum speed 10 Mbps).​​

  • Familiarity with Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Meet.
